1. Clinical Research Experience

“JSSAHER” is a premier university in which clinical trial will be happening regularly in medical set up, Covid- Vaccine trial was also facilitated here. The JSS dental college has also started clinical trials since 2021.We have been conducting drug trials, and we have experienced clinicians trained in good clinical practice to facilitate smooth conduct of clinical trials.

2. Good Clinical Practice Compliance

We have good inflow of patients of all ages like paediatric to geriatric groups treatment for various ailments like dental caries periodontal diseases, oral lesions, odontogenic infections, oral cancer, maxillofacial pathology and trauma.

3. Infrastructure and Resources

• University Sophisticated Instrumentation Centre (USIC)

  USIC is a DST PURSE Facility funded by DST, Ministry of Science and Technology, GOI Facilities available here include HPLC, GCMS-MS, NMR, Spectrophotometry

• Animal house

  Centre for Experimental Pharmacology and Toxicology is an BSL - II barrier facility supports the preclinical research activities of JSS AHER Constituent Colleges (medical, dental, pharmacy, life sciences) and Departments. The facility is licensed (261/PO/ReRcBi/S/2000/CCSEA) by CCSEA, Govt. of India, to conduct experiment on small animal models and breeding for in-house use.

4. Patient Population

5. Ethical Approval

We have an inhouse ethical committee that looks into the needs of research projects funded by ICMR, DST, DBT, Birac, STS and various agencies for conducting clinical trials. Our ethical committee has been certified by CDSCO and DHR.
