The Department of Health Systems Management Studies organized a 3-day workshop on 'Database Management Systems (DBMS)' from January 16–18, 2025, led by Dr. Chandru A. S. and Mr. Akash from Vidya Vikas Institute of Engineering and Technology, Mysuru. The workshop offered a blend of theoretical insights and hands-on practice, covering DBMS concepts, SQL, MySQL installation, ER diagrams, relational schemas, and transaction processing. Students designed databases like Library and Employee systems, enhancing their skills in query writing and real-world application. The workshop successfully equipped participants with foundational and practical knowledge essential for managing data in diverse professional environments.
