JSSCP, Ooty successfully conducted its Annual Sports Meet (ATHLOS FESTA - 2025) from Feb 28 to Mar 1, 2025 at JSS public school grounds, Theetukal, Ooty.

Ms NS.Nisha, Superintendent of Police, The Nilgiris, was the Chief Guest and in her inaugural address emphasised that everyone has intoxication in life, but one should make sure that such intoxication is prominent in the positive aspects of life-studies, sports, arts, yoga, etc.

For students, sports serve as a healthy intoxication. Sports play a crucial role in the growth and development of individuals. It not only enhances immunity and physical strength but also sharpens the mind. Therefore, along with academics, students should also focus on sports. Ms.Nisha also stressed the importance of raising awareness about drug abuse and efforts that required combat drug addiction.
